When I started thinking of building this website, I tried to make the Graphic Design and coding as professional as possible.
So stay tune, and get to know how WDD website was built.

First of all, I determined the goal of this website, how will the information be presented and how the user will navigate the website.
So, I designed it based on the fact that my aim is that all types of people with different backgrounds have a nice time navigating through my website .

I used the latest programs released in developing websites. Visual Studio 2005, SQL 2000, Adobe Photoshop CS2, Adobe Illustrator CS2, Macromedia Flash 8.0 and Macromedia DreamWeaver 8.0.

* Note : I am trying to use SQL Server 2005 but the web server doesn't support  it yet. Maybe in the future.

The beginning:
Talking about the applications that I used in this website, no doubt that all of them need quite some time to learn and quite some hard work to get experience in.
I started on this website on the 10th of February 2006 and finished it on the 7th of April 2006.

Visual Studio .NET 2005:
I have built this site using Visual Studio .NET 2005. I used C# .NET coding and ASP2.0 .NET, SQL data source to retrieve data from data base ,details view and grid view's, validation controls, DLL files, multi functions for voting and check login validate and so on.

The most amazing thing about this site, is the degree of dynamics in this site. With using web parts, each web page can change all small details at run time.
Not only that, but also changes on the control are not from another page, but from the website itself (just like admin pages), but the pages control ask for permission for personalize users.
The interface for the administrator is different than the one for anonymous user, because I designed security for each control text boxes, labels and menus.

I used SQL server 2000 as the database and used stored procedures for manipulating the database.

Macromedia Flash 8.0:
All flashes in this website are linked with a database. This way it is easier to edit from ASP.NET 2.0.
The flash will take all of its animation from the database. The left icon, link text, link URL and the color when user rolls over the link, all that is gotten from the database. So it’s so easy for the user to deal with.

I can easily add a new link, determine a new link’s color, change the URL for a page or edit the text in same link without any sweat
It is only the Administrator that can manipulate, the interface I built on ASP2.0 .NET, without any need to know any details about the flash and how it works.

The left flash is also loading dynamic (.PNG) files, which keep the high quality of the flash with fast uploading. The images in the flash upload at run time.
The upper flash are linked with TXT file data base, which gets the names and URLs from the TXT file.

Macromedia DreamWeaver 8.0 :
The links have been made using DreamWeaver to determine the java script code, and then put them on HTML .NET 2005.
DreamWeaver is the backbone for any java script code in this website.
I have also made pages with full graphic design using DreamWeaver 8.0 .

Adobe Photoshop CS2 and Adobe Illustrator CS2 :
Please go back a few lines up and read the statement,” I tried to make the Graphic Design and coding as professional as possible”.
All Praise is due to Allah (all mighty). I have 3 years experience in Graphic design, and now you can see the result of those 3 years.
I use all new features in Adobe Photoshop CS2, and I know what I am talking about when I say, All features in CS2:
layers, layers comps, Groups, actions, automation , all tools to edit and manipulate my pictures I've take in the studio, then I have divided all images on it, dividing the images for icons, flash and for java script. Keep in mind that I have also made a data show CV and business card especially for this website.

that's it... ihope sweet navigation :) .
